Konnect was born in February 2021. Started by 3 best friends who fell in love with Korea
and it's culture which kept us sane throughout our tiring 2 years of MBA. 😂
What started of as just an idea has grown into a successful venture and we hope it grows into something big that helps our community to experience their favorite country South Korea.

How did we get this idea:
We still remember how we used to sit and talk all about K-Dramas during our free period and how our friends used to be like "what do you guys keep talking about for hours" 😂😂. If anyone had told us we'll be starting a business related to South Korea, we would've definitely laughed. But now Konnect is something we feel super proud of starting.

Konnect, as our name implies, is all about connecting our customers to the essence of Korea. It was during lockdown that we actually got to know about K-pop and we started seeing alot of content based on that. This was when we saw so many people selling unofficial merch online. We found the idea of doing something like that was achievable and with all the three of us good in designing we thought why not? and immediately started our work.

Initially Konnect was meant to be a Kpop and Kdrama merch store, but now the path we are venturing on is totally different. Now our aim is to help our audience learn more about Korea in every aspect possible and help them connect with their favorite country right from the comfort of their home. We are still in the first step of the process and hope we achieve everything we planned out.

Why Korea?
There 2 reasons one is the rising popularity of Korea in India. There are so many people (including us) dreaming to travel to South Korea, study there and experience living there. Which made us thinking what we can do to bridge the gap that many people feel. Second reason is the similarities between the culture of India and Korea. There are so many little little things that we can find similar between both the countries which made us dig deep and learn more about South Korea and this made is fall in a never ending love with everything about Korea.
